The Lakers try to hold on to their 8th seed playoff spot by beating the Atlanta Hawks. In the fourth quarter the Lakers trail all the way to the end, but Kobe had a different plan of attack. Kobe put the team on his back dropping basket after basket and a crazy turn around three point shot that brought the Lakers within two points. Lakers defense stop the Hawks and the Lakers come back with the ball and of course the game time decision is in the hands of Kobe. This play was the most controversial play of the week. Should the refs had called a foul and was Dahntay Jones considered a dirty player due to this play. This play caused a severe ankle sprain to Kobe’s left ankle.
